Do you believe in magic? Do you consider the idea that real wizards exist?
The members of the DramaClub of the school ” Turan Lyceum” believe. Because they are magicians themselves. Throughout the academic year, students in years 5-11 have been writing scripts, casting and rehearsing, sewing costumes and making props and decorations themselves – all with the aim of presenting the English-language play “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” on 25 May.
The aim of the club was to encourage the children to discover the world of theatre and to teach them to love it. Despite the fact that it was their first performance, the children did a great job, showing good knowledge of English and trying to tell the audience the story of a boy who suddenly found out that magic exists, and that he is a magician himself. Both the audience and the young artists were impressed and had a lot of fun. The children greatly enjoyed the performance.
